UC Davis Centennial Celebration

Happy 100th Birthday, UC Davis! The Davis Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Davis host, "Celebrate UC Davis!", a community celebration on Sunday, October 12, noon-4:00 p.m.

A street fair atmosphere along 3rd Street between A and G Streets will feature food, vendors, campus organizations and displays featuring the contributions UC Davis has made to the City of Davis and the region. DDBA is organizing efforts to ensure the event also reflects the community's "green", earth-friendly values.

Also, the "Run For Your Lives" 5K and 10K run/walk will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 12, preceding the Celebrate UC Davis! event. The race will begin and end at Toomey Field on the UC Davis campus. Registration information and other details can be found at http://www.runforyourlives.ucdavis.edu. Online sign-ups can be completed through midnight on October 9.
