Joy Cohan named as DDBA Administrator

Joy Cohan assumed responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the DDBA in early June.

Her hiring is part of DDBA's desire to return to its roots, streamline its operations and refocus on its mission to actively lead the Downtown as the primary business, entertainment and cultural center of Davis.

"We are pleased that Joy has agreed to serve the DDBA," stated Maria Ogrydziak, DDBA board president. "Her experience as Downtown Coordinator for the city of Woodland and her work with local non-profit organizations - such as Sutter Davis Hospital Foundation, Woodland Opera House and the Stroll Through History - will bring new skills and connections to the marketing and development of Downtown Davis.

"With Joy's assistance, we will continue to develop Downtown Davis as an extraordinary destination," Ogrydziak said.
